For my own mental health, it is important to remember to take time for myself. Self-care isn’t selfish, it is a necessary part of being a whole and happy person. Sometimes that means taking the time to read a book or go for a walk, even when my to-do list isn’t done.
Mallorie values self-care as an essential part of maintaining mental health. For her, that often means reading a good book, going for a walk, or simply taking time to recharge even when her to-do list isn’t complete. Her favorite hobbies include reading and building LEGO sets, which she finds both relaxing and fun. She also enjoys spending time with her family and their dogs, whether on walks or at the beach. A fun fact about Mallorie’s family is their shared love of all things “geeky,” from Harry Potter to Doctor Who—interests they often weave into their home décor.
"Life can be very difficult. Having a safe place to explore and discuss difficult thoughts and feelings can ease the stress that comes with life’s challenges. My goal is to provide that safe space—where people feel heard and supported as they work through what matters most to them."
