Aubri specializes in working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, sports performance, depression, and identity-related concerns, with a particular passion for supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. She also enjoys working with couples, families, and adolescents, helping clients navigate relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
Aubri believes therapy should be a collaborative and supportive space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. Her approach integrates client-centered, cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, and expressive arts modalities, allowing her to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals. She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT), evidence-based approaches that support healing from trauma and strengthen relationships within couples and families.
Aubri earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bluefield University. Her passion for counseling began during an undergraduate internship at Waterfall Canyon Academy, where she worked with adolescents on the autism spectrum. She later expanded her experience through work with elementary-aged students, counseling services at her university, and a year-long internship at Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board, supporting individuals facing severe mental illness and substance use challenges.
Outside of the office, Aubri can usually be found with her Kindle in hand, diving into her latest book. She also enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, spending time on the water, baking for family and friends, and playing the piano. She values genuine connection, lifelong learning, and creating spaces where people feel accepted, supported, and encouraged to be their authentic selves.
